Things move pretty slowly when it comes to park repair seeing that it will take over a year for the City of Flower Mound to prepare Twin Coves park for its re-opening in Spring of 2012. But the good news is that Flower Mound plans to spend $500,000 and re-open this once great park on the northern side of Lake Grapevine near Twin Coves Marina.
The 243-acre park fell into disrepair after Marinas International pulled out of its lease in 2009. The City of Flower Mound has agreed to a 25-year lease with the Army Corps of Engineers for Twin Coves Park.
This is great news for people that love the parks and trails around Lake Grapevine.
